FAQ
  • When can I visit your farm?
We will have a U-Pick Lavender Festival May 25-27 (Memorial Day Weekend). If there is still lavender available after those dates, we will notify folks of additional U-Pick days.
  • Can I have my wedding at your farm?
We are absolutely available for rental! Please contact 859-327-7141 for details.
  • What can I do with the lavender I pick?
Hang your bouquet upside down for 2 weeks. At that time, you can either display your dried bouquet in a vase or strip the buds off. Dried english lavender buds can be used in sweet or savory foods. You can make sachets by sewing a small pouch of material for the buds. Just press the pouch to release the oils. The scent will last for over a year. These are great to keep in drawers.
  • How do I grow my own lavender?
We will have a limited number of plants for sale during our festival. Lavender loves well-drained soil with a basic pH. Over-watering causes root rot. After blooming, trim plants to leave 2" of green growth on the plant. Lavender will double its size yearly until year five. We are happy to answer any growing questions you might have.
